Fenway Park: Is it "a lyric little bandbox" that is "the best place in the world to watch baseball? Or is it one of the reasons for our highly publicised World Chambionship drought?
You decide.
Although Fenway is indisputably a fun park to go to, has it hurt the team and the fans? Think about Bucky (bleeping) Dent, for starters. Now go deeper. How many high caliber free agent pitchers have the Red Sox signed lately? How many righthanded hitters who can only hit with the Wall have meant that we have lost games on the road? And for those fond of Curses of Bambino's and the like, Harry (gack, hack, cough) Frazee, sold Ruth to the Yanks for money anda loan to help finance Fenway! Could the curse be rooted in the very foundations of our lovely ballpark? I don't believe in curses, but if the curse isreal, could the end of Fenway eredicate it?

What represents the Sox more than Fenway? Sure, new parks have better services, seat more so that (in theory) you do not have to pay as much for a game, and often have retractable roofs that do away with the rain delay, but can you think of a park with more character than Fenway?
